RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Flamengo have denied holding talks with Juventus for the sale of highly rated Brazilian teenager Adryan.
Local media reported on Wednesday that the 19-year-old could join the Italian Serie A side before the close of the European transfer window on August 31.
But Flamengo's executive director Paulo Pelaipe said there had been no official interest shown by any club in the attacking midfielder.
"We haven't received any proposals," Pelaipe said. "He is a young player and forms part of our future plans. He has done well so far and is being well prepared by our football department."
Adryan, a current member of Brazil's under-20 team, has played 29 matches for Flamengo since his first-team debut in 2011.
In April he extended his contract with the Rio de Janeiro outfit until 2016. His release clause is reportedly 13 million euros.
