WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal won his opening match at ATP-WTA Cincinnati Masters on Wednesday as he beat German Benjamin Becker 6-2, 6-2.

Nadal has been hard to beat on the hardcourts this year winning in Indian Wells and last week in Montreal.

The Spanish world number two only took 76 minutes to finish the match with four breaks of serve.

Top seeds Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray also reached the third round Wednesday.
