ROME, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Fiorentina's Italian Serie A opener against Catania has been moved to August 26 due to the former's Europa League commitment, the Lega Serie A confirmed on Monday.

The game at the Artemio Franchi was originally scheduled to kick off at 20.45 local time on Sunday 25 August. It will now take place exactly 24 hours later.

The decision was taken due to Fiorentina's Europa League commitments in Switzerland against Grasshopper on the previous Thursday.
