WASHINGTON, July 27 (Xinhua) -- John Isner from the United States edged Australian veteran Lleyton Hewitt 6-4, 4-6 7-6 (5) on Saturday to advance to the final of Atlanta Open.

Isner would face another big server Kevin Anderson in the final on Sunday.

"It's my third final here, and I would certainly like to win it but I'm not putting any extra pressure on myself," said Isner about the final.

Isner won five of the previous eight meetings against Anderson.
