BARCELONA, Spain, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese diver Zi He won the gold medal in women's 1-meter springboard on Tuesday at the Piscines of Montjuic.
Zi scored a total of 307.10 points followed by Italy's Tania Cagnotto, bronze in Shanghai 2011, who took silver by scoring 307. 00 points, slightly below Zi's score.
Zi won the gold medal in Melbourne 2007, while also winning gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics in 3-meter synchronized springboard and taking silver medal in the 3-meter individual springboard.
China's Wang Han, who won a silver medal in Shanghai two years ago, took the bronze medal by scoring 297.75 points. She had also won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Rome 2009.
So far, Chinese divers have won four of the five diving golds at the Barcelona World Swimming and Diving Championships, as Germany's Patrick Hausding and Sascha Klein won it on Sunday in 10- meter synchro.
China could win another gold on Tuesday's afternoon in 3-meter synchronized springboard thanks to Qin Kai and He Chong who took the first position in preliminaries by 454.32 points.
