MINSK, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Belarus won six medals, including two gold, two silver and two bronze medals in the kayak/canoe events during the morning session at the Kazan Universiade on Monday.

The Belarusian team won two gold medals in the women's double scull and women's quadruplet.

Sergei Privolkin, Denis Reut, Andrei Bogdanovich, Dmitry Pivovar came in second in the C4 200m. Margarita Tishkevich added silver in K1 200m to her medal collection.

Artem Kozyr finished in third in C1 200m. Gleb Solodukha and Denis Makhlai were also third in C2 200m.

The Belarusians have 6 gold, 8 silver and 8 bronze medals so far in the Universiade.
