COPENHAGEN, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Denmark beat Georgia 2-1 in friendly warm-up match before the next round of FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The match was played Wednesday night and Georgia was the first to score by Dzariav seven minutes into second half.

Fourteen minutes later Danish Nicklas Pedersen made it 1-1 in a match that was mostly played around the Georgian goal with several Danish chances. Still the Danish team was not able to hit the net.

In the 88th minute Christian Eriksen got the remaining public a bit exited with a perfect long shot that hit the right corner of the goal to seal the victory at 2-1 for Denmark at Aalborg Stadium.

Denmark will meet Armenia next Tuesday in the Brazil World Cup qualifying round in Parken in Copenhagen.
