ROME, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba's season is over as he has been banned for three games following his dismissal against Palermo.

The 20-year-old French was expected to receive the heavy punishment after he was sent off for spitting in the direction of Palermo stopper Salvatore Aronica on Sunday.

Given that there are just three games left this term, the former Manchester United youngster's campaign has been brought to a premature end.
