RIO DE JANEIRO, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Brazil will meet Portugal in an international friendly at Boston's Gillette Stadium on September 9, the Brazilian football confederation (CBF) said on Friday.
It will be the South American outfit's third fixture after the Confederations Cup, to be played in Brazil from June 15-30.
Luiz Felipe Scolari's team will confront Switzerland in Basel on August 14 followed by a yet-to-be-determined opponent on September 6, the CBF said on its official website.
Portugal and Brazil drew 0-0 when they last met during the group phase of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The CBF also announced Brazil and Argentina would contest the two-legged Super Classic of the Americas trophy on September 18 and October 1.
Brazil will play England at Rio's revamped Maracana Stadium on June 2, then France in Porto Alegre a week later before their Confederations Cup debut against Japan in Brasilia on June 15.
