LONDON, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez said that England internationals Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard will be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Benitez, who was just appointed as manager on Thursday to replace sacked Roberto Di Matteo, said that Cole and Lampard will not stay at the west London club after their contracts expire next summer.

Benitez said: "I think so, that is the case at the moment."

Lampard, who jointed Chelsea from West Ham United in 2001, has made over 570 appearances and has been linked with moves to the MLS and China.

Cole has played nearly 300 matches since his move from Arsenal in 2006.
