LIMA, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chilean women's beach tennis team Monday defeated Venezuela to win the doubles gold medal at the first Bolivarian Beach Games Lima 2012, held in the Peruvian capital city.

Francisca Zuniga and Francisca Echevarria defeated Venezuelan sisters, Gesualda and Ninfa Marra 6-0, 6-3 for the title.

Peruvian pair Ingrid Vargas and Katherine Miranda took bronze after clinching a 6-1, 6-0 win over Ecuadoreans Beatriz Pino and Ena Ceccovalli.
