TBILISI, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine routed Luxembourg 6-0 while hosts Georgia nipped Scotland 3-0 on Sunday in the third and last round of the Group XIII qualifiers of the 2013 UEFA Under-17 Football Championship, to advance to the elite round of qualification.
Ukraine and Georgia now join the top two finishers from the other 12 groups plus two best third-place finishers from the 13 groups of qualification. The 28 teams will play in seven groups of an elite round with each group pooling four teams.
The winners of the seven elite-round groups will then join hosts Slovakia in the grand finale of the 2013 championship.
The Ukrainians on Sunday led the first half with four goals while the Georgians led the first half with one goal from Luka Zarandia who scored another goal in the second half.
A total of 52 European teams competed in the qualifying round which fell into 13 groups of actions.
