LONDON, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Two British athletes' Olympic medals were stolen on Wednesday after the two leaving a Buckingham Palace reception with Queen Elizabeth II to honour British athletes who took part in Londay Olympic Games.
Rower Alex Partridge and hockey player Hannah Macleod publicized the search for their missing Olympic bronze medals on Twitter.
Partridge, 31, said both his Olympic blazer and medal were stolen.
A 29-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the inquiry, but the police said the medals still hadn't been found.
The 28-year-old Macleod also said on Twitter that she was "devastated" after her medal was taken at the same time.
