In London, 293 buses have been redesigned to accommodate five or six wheelchair spaces.
Seventy percent of LOCOG volunteers are new for the Paralympic Games.
Seventeen venues are used for the Paralympics, and two new venues have been included: Brands Hatch, which will host the road cycling events, and Eton Manor, a specialized arena inside the Olympic Park that will host wheelchair tennis.
