RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Corinthians coach Tite has launched a stinging attack on Santos striker Neymar, accusing the Brazil international of deceiving referees by "simulating" fouls.
Tite spoke out after Santos' 3-2 home victory over the defending Brazilian Serie A champions on Sunday.
"To win or lose is part of the game. But to simulate a situation in an effort to gain an advantage is not," Tite said.
"It's a bad example for kids who are watching. He has to cut it out of his game."
Tite also accused Neymar of stepping on defender Guilherme during Sunday's match, sparking a heated exchange between the pair.
Neymar protested his innocence and said Guilherme had overreacted by physically confronting him after the incident.
"It was unnecessary. You can't lose your head like that," Neymar said.
"We are both young and have a lot to learn. But the football pitch is not the place to fight."
