LONDON, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. team set an Olympic record for points in a single men's basketball game on Thursday by beating Nigeria 156-73 in a preliminary round match.
The previous record was set by Brazil in the 1988 Games in a 138-85 win over Egypt.
