PARIS, July 17 (Xinhua) -- French top ligue club PSG signed Italy-based striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the second main face recruited after the Brazilian defender Thiago Silva, local media reported on Tuesday.
Citing Leonrado, the PSG football director, the daily Le Parisien said the club reached an accord with the 30-year-old striker to join Paris soccer team for three seasons.
"I think it will be a great year for PSG...This player will change everything," the daily quoted Leonardo as saying.
Ibrahimovic would enjoy an annual net payment of 12.5 million euros (15.33 million U.S.dollars), the report added.
On its website, the PSG said to hold a press conference on Wednesday afternoon without mentioning the newcomer.
Three days ago, the club that was heavily investing in recruiting the best performing international players, signed Thiago Silva who was considered one of the world's best central defenders.
