KIEV, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian football clubs Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kiev have been included in the world's top 25 clubs according to the latest rankings of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) issued for March, local media reported on Wednesday.
According to the rankings, Shakhtar jumped from 68th to 20th position, while Dynamo progresses from 37th to 25th position.
The table also includes another three Ukrainian clubs. Metalist Kharkiv dropped from 37th to 130th position, while Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk progressed from 297th to 101st position.
Vorskla Poltava slipped from 92nd to 228th position.
The top three world rankings saw Spain's Barselona in first place, followed by England's Manchester United and Arsenal.
Initiated in 1991, the IFFHS ranking is a classification showing the level of the clubs and the level of performance for each country in the international arena.
