ROME, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Inter head coach Claudio Ranieri praised his side's 4-4 draw with Palermo on Wednesday as "a great advert for football."
Diego Milito scored four goals and Fabrizio Miccoli responded with a hat-trick in the thriller under the snow at San Siro.
"It was a very spectacular encounter and I want to thank all those who allowed the game to go ahead with their hard work. I think the match repaid them for their efforts," Ranieri was quoted as saying by football-italia.net.
"It's a shame to emerge from this with a draw, although it is the right result considering how many chances were created by both sides. It was a great advert for football.
"I think Milito must be one of the few players in the world who scored four goals and still failed to win a game," he said.
