ROME, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Juventus head coach Antonio Conte said he was happy with his side's performance in their 0-0 draw with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli on Wednesday.

It was a top of the table tussle and Udinese's one hundred percent record on home turf was ended by scoreless result.

"These are the two best defenses in Serie A and my team proved its solidity in every respect," Conte was quoted as saying by football-italia.net.

"It's not everyone who can come to Udine and take the initiative. Let us not forget that last season Udinese finished ahead of us in the standings.

"Simone Pepe had a great game and I am satisfied with Alessandro Matri's performance, in which his movement off the ball worked perfectly.

"We studied Udinese carefully and they did the same with us. In football nowadays you have to be organized and prepared for every situation. You can't give your opponents even half a chance and that is the secret of our success." he said.
