ROME, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Former Juventus director manager Luciano Moggi has tipped Milan to retain their Scudetto saying the defending champions are light years ahead of other teams.
Moggi, a figure at the center of the Calciopoli scandal, is now a pundit and spoke to Radio Mana Mana about the new campaign.
"Milan are light years ahead of the others," Moggi was quoted as saying by the radio. "However, I have doubts Inter can do well now that Moratti's back in charge and taking care of business hands-on.
"The Nerazzurri President has started selling up shop rather than making intelligent sales and he's signing poor replacements. I don't think they are competitive.
"Milan worked very well on the transfer market. The Antonio Nocerino deal to replace the injured Mathieu Flamini proves there is logic behind the way this team has been assembled.
"Napoli also did a good job, strengthening in defence with Miguel Angel Britos, then midfield thanks to Blerim Dzemaili and Gokhan Inler. Above all, they have left the skeleton of the side intact from last season."
Lazio and Juventus have bought some big names over the summer and revolutionized their squads.
"I think those two will fight for fourth place," he said.
