MIAMI, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Top seed Rafael Nadal and third seed Roger Federer both advanced to the fourth round of Miami ATP Masters 1000 after straight wins on Monday.
The world top ranked Nadal sank fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 6-3 in a commanding victory. It was the seventh win gained by Nadal in his nine conflicts against Lopez.
Federer met some trouble in the first set of the match against 32 seeded Juan Monaco of Argentina. After claiming the opening set with 7-4 win in the tie-break, the Swiss roared to win the second set 6-4 to seal the one hour and 44 minutes match.

"It was tough not having played him very often," said Federer. "This is as slow as it gets out on the hard court. It's a bit of clay almost except that you can't slide."
Federer will next play against Olivier Rochus of Belgium, who held off Russia's 13th seed Mikhail Youzhny 1-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Nadal will face the winner between France's 15th seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Ukraine's 21st seed Alexandr Dolgopolov.
