ZHUCHENG, East China, March 10 (Xinhua) -- China's young table tennis player Mu Zi was selected here Thursday to attend the 2011 Rotterdam World championships.

Mu beat Li Xiaoxia 12-14, 11-9, 11-8, 10-12, 12-10, and 11-8 in the selective match held in Zhucheng, Shandong Province of China.

Mu, a dark horse, had also defeated Guo Yue and Feng Yalan respectively by 4-0 and 4-2.

According to the selection rules, Ding Ning, Guo Yan, Wu Yang, Liu Shiwen, and Mu Zi had been qualified for the World Championships.
