RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Cruzeiro eased to another impressive victory by beating Paraguay's Guarani 4-0 in their second match of Group 7 of the 2011 Liberadores Cup on Tuesday.
Wallyson scored his team's first two goals. The first came in the 30th minute when the player tapped in a corner kick from Montillo. The duo teamed up for another goal in the 63rd minute when Montillo delivered an excellent pass to Wallyson who dominated the ball and quickly fired it into the goal.
In the closing minutes of the match, Cruzeiro enlarged their lead when Farias scored in the 86th minute followed by a long range shot from Thiago Riberio that sailed into the Guarani goal in the 88th minute.
The win places Cruzeiro in the first place of Group 7 with six points and an impressive nine goals in two matches.
The team will travel to face Colombia's Tolima on March 2.
