ROME, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Brescia fired coach Giuseppe Iachini on Monday after a run of 11 league games without a win and hired Mario Beretta to take the position until the end of the season.
46-year-old Iachini's side was humiliated in 3-0 defeat at Serie A leaders AC Milan on Saturday.
Things had started so well for Iachini this season, having guided Brescia to promotion from Serie B in the last campaign.
But after three wins in their first four matches, Brescia have not won in almost three months, picking up just three points.
They sit fourth from bottom of the table but level on points with the two teams directly below them.
Beretta has been holding a long coaching career as the 51-year- old's last job was in Greece where he lasted just one month at PAOK Salonica, being sacked in pre-season.
