NINGBO, China, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Alberta Brianti of Italy beat Magdalena Rybarikova of Slovakia 6-4, 6-4 to take the women's singles title at the international women's tennis challenge here Saturday evening.
During the tit-for-tat match, Brianti exploited her pinpoint strikes to topple the top-seeded Rybarikova who rallied to win two games in a row from 5-2 down in the second set but eventually surrendered the match with a double fault.

Brianti appeared very excited after the match and hoped that she could play in Yinzhou, Ningbo next year if possible.
Wan Jianbin, the supervisor of the tournament as well as deputy director of China's tennis management center, said that Ningbo will host the tennis tournament in the future as it has the third best tennis courts in China.
