BERLIN, July 17 (Xinhua) -- German national coach Joachim Loew met his assistants on Friday, but still did not give a clear answer about whether he would extend a contract with Deutscher Football Bund (DFB).
Loew said he met with assistants Oliver Bierhoff, Hanis Flick and Andreas Koepke in Freiburg to recall the past of the World championship in South Africa.
"We have analyzed the World championship that had priority. We will discuss in our next meeting how we progress. There is no decision made," said Loew.
A fast agreement on a contract extension with the DFB and Joachim Loew will be impossible.
"That's no problem, we will sit down at a table to find a resolution," DFB general secretary Wolfgang Niersbach said.
"In the coming days I will meet with my assistants to confer a lot of things that affect our future," added Loew.
Joachim Loew will come to a decision by no later than the end of July. And at the same time, the DFB is to decide who will coach the national team for the European championship 2012 in Poland/Ukraine.
The German national team will face Denmark for a friendly on August 11th, still with head coach Joachim Loew.
