BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Argentina coach Diego Maradona said on Monday he was revitalized following the birth last week of his first grandchild Benjamin.

    "It is the biggest happiness one can have," Maradona told a press conference shortly after returning to Buenos Aires from Madrid, where he spent several days with his daughter Giannina and Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero.

    "I thought that saying 'I'm a granddad' would make me old but when I saw 'Benja' a big youthful wave swept over me and gave me a beautiful new sensation, the desire to keep on living," said the 48-year-old Maradona.

    Benjamin Aguero, born Thursday in the Spanish capital, has been registered as member in Independiente, Boca Juniors and Atletico Madrid.
