The Mallorca website announced on Tuesday that the 24-year-old would be out of action for a further six weeks following complications in his recovery.
Moya damaged tendons in his foot while playing against Atletico Madrid on on November 2 and has so far missed three months of a season that has seen his side battle against relegation.
He needed an operation after the original injury and Tuesday saw him undergo further corrective surgery to clear veins attached to his tendons.
Mallorca is currently staying at the bottom of Spain's Primera Liga with just 18 points from 22 matches played to date.
Mallorca's substitute keeper German Lux suffered from a loss of form and confidence after stepping into the side following Moya's injury, prompting the club to sign former Deportivo la Coruna keeper Dudu Aouate in January.
