BEIJING, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- A briefing was held on Thursday for representatives from major foreign chambers of commerce and transnational enterprises in China on the fifth plenary session of the 19th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
More than 100 foreign business representatives attended the meeting to learn about the major content of the CPC Central Committee's proposals for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035.
Organized by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, the briefing invited Chinese experts from economic and political fields to interact with foreign business representatives.

China's new development blueprint put forward measures on stimulating domestic demand, advancing opening-up, boosting technological innovation, and promoting green development, which will inject impetus into the recovery of the world economy in the post-COVID-19 era, according to attendees from the business circle.
Foreign business chambers and enterprises in China are confident in the development prospect of the country and hope to advance cooperation in investment and trade with China, the representatives said.
