BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Vice Premier Hu Chunhua on Friday called for solid efforts in the preparation for the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), to be held in Beijing in early September.

Efforts should be made to ensure the full success of the fair, making it the most influential world-class service trade fair, said Hu, head of the organizing committee of the CIFTIS, at a meeting of the committee.

All members of the organizing committee should strengthen coordination and further refine work plans to ensure the success of the opening ceremony, said Hu, stressing that measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic should be strictly implemented throughout the fair.
