BEIJING, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- All the 8,160 suggestions submitted by Chinese lawmakers to this year's annual session of the National People's Congress (NPC) have been handled, with feedbacks sent to the NPC deputies, according to a report.
The report on the handling of lawmakers' suggestions at the second annual session of the 13th NPC was submitted on Tuesday to the ongoing bimonthly session of the NPC Standing Committee.
Xin Chunying, vice secretary-general of the NPC Standing Committee, briefed lawmakers on the report at the second plenary meeting of the bimonthly session.
Xin said 71.28 percent of the problems raised by the lawmakers in the suggestions have been solved or given a schedule for solution.
The suggestions mainly focused on poverty alleviation, tackling pollution, forestalling and defusing major risks and improving people's wellbeing, among others, Xin said.
