BEIJING, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- An immigration service center to better facilitate the integration of foreign immigrants coming to China will be operational in the first half of 2019, said the National Immigration Administration (NIA) on Thursday.
The center will provide services related to immigrants' needs during their stay and travel in China, legal aid, language and culture.
It will also conduct policy consultation, accept complaint reports, provide emergency response and assess and publish travel alert information.
The NIA also said it is nearing the launch of an online platform and a mobile application, which will enable people to process the application of exit and entry documents, payments and search requirements via web devices and smartphones.
