WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi met U.S. President Donald Trump here on Friday, urging the two nations to enhance coordination on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue.

He also said the two sides should manage and control their disputes and sensitive issues properly, and implement the consensus of Trump's meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, in the U.S. leader's China visit in November.
