BEIJING, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng on Friday urged non-communist parties to improve the efficiency of consultation among Chinese political parties.

Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, asked non-communist party members to conduct in-depth investigation and research, be brave to tell truth and put forward valuable suggestion at a meeting.

Yu also called on non-communist parties to enhance their abilities of teamwork, leadership and problem-solving, so as to better participate in the administration and discussion of state affairs.

Sun Chunlan, head of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, presided over the meeting.
