BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing on Saturday evening after attending the seventh BRICS summit and the 15th SCO summit in Ufa of Russia.

At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Xi attended the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) summit on July 8 and 9, and the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on July 9 and 10.
