BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong met with IEEE Magnetics Society President Bruce Terris and other INTERMAG 2015 attendees on Thursday.

During a meeting at the Zhongnanhai leadership compound, Liu congratulated the guests on the success of the INTERMAG 2015, calling on the experts, scholars and worldwide well-Known high-tech enterprises to further enhance exchanges and cooperation with Chinese colleges and institutes.

Sponsored by the Magnetics Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE), the IEEE International Magnetics Conference (INTERMAG) is the largest conference in the field of basic and applied magnetics.

Hosted by Tsinghua University, the INTERMAG is being held in Beijing for the first time from May 11 to 15.
