BEIJING, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has called for building the Party and managing its cadres with stricter rules.
Liu Yunshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, presided over two seminars held in Beijing in recent days, listening to opinions from experts and officials on governing the Party in line with the Party's key meeting on rule of law and President Xi Jinping's speeches.
Experts, officials from various departments and regions said a series of strict rules for Party's discipline after the 18th National Congress of CPC have created a new situation in the Party's work style.
They vowed to implement the central authority's decisions, governing the Party with both ideologies and systems, and making strict rules for the Party a new normal for Party construction.
Liu urged Party committees at various levels to take concrete responsibility, and strengthen performance evaluations for Party cadres.
Liu also called for further implementation of the "mass line" campaign, and strict governing of Party cadres. He called for finding problems at the beginning.
