BEIJING, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed six new ambassadors, according to a statement issued by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Wednesday.
Xi made the appointments in line with decisions by the Standing Committee of the NPC, China's top legislature.
Yu Fulong has been appointed ambassador to Oman, replacing Wu Jiuhong.
Li Lianhe has been appointed ambassador to Sudan, replacing Luo Xiaoguang.
Qiu Xuejun has been appointed ambassador to Eritrea, replacing Niu Qiang.
Yin Lixian has been appointed ambassador to Seychelles, replacing Shi Zhongjun.
Lu Huiying has been appointed ambassador to Mali, replacing Cao Zhongming.
Tian Erlong has been appointed ambassador to Armenia, replacing Tian Changchun.
