HARBIN, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- The trade volume between northeast China's Heilongjiang Province and Russia from January to July totaled 12.3 billion U.S. dollars, up 19.5 percent year on year, the provincial Bureau of Commerce announced Saturday.
The volume of imports from Russia in the past seven months stood at 9.72 billion U.S. dollars, up 23.8 percent year on year, while the export volume amounted to 2.59 billion U.S. dollars, up 5.8 percent year on year.
Statistics show that Heilongjiang Province saw bilateral trade with Russia reach 18.99 billion U.S. dollars in 2011, accounting for 24 percent of China's total trade volume with Russia.
China and Russia have made efforts to realize their target of a 100-billion-U.S.-dollar bilateral trade volume in 2015.
