BEIJING, Nov. 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Top-selling musicians have reacted to the deadly Paris attacks on social media and cancelled concerts to show their indignation.
U.S. singer Madonna is making a plea for world peace following the tragic news. She wrote, "Pray For Peace! In Paris and all around the World."
Canadian singer Justin Bieber, American pop singer Katy Perry, British singer Harry Styles and more sent prayers to Paris.
A musical band of Ireland U2 was scheduled to film a live concert special for HBO in Paris on Saturday night, and now that show has been canceled.
The U.S. musical band Foo Fighters has also called off the remainder of their European concerts, which include a stop in Paris on Monday.
