CANNES, France, May 15 (Xinhua) -- The 65th Cannes film festival is to kick off Wednesday on the French Riviera, with Wes Anderson's 1960s drama "Moonrise Kingdom" as its opening film.
The world's major film festival will run from May 16 to 27 and the following is a list of the 22 films to compete for the coveted Palme d'Or before the nine-member jury headed by Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti:
