BEIJING, Oct. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- "Glee" cast's steamy spread for GQ magazine has stirred up controversy.
The November issue of GQ features actresses Lea Michele and Dianna Agron posing in their underwear, licking lollipops and striking sexy poses.
Media watchdog group the Parents Television Council released a statement Wednesday blasting the magazine's racy spread.
"It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on 'Glee' in this way. It borders on pedophilia. Sadly, this is just the latest example of the overt sexualization of young girls in entertainment," said PTC President Tim Winter.

GQ responded that although Monteith, Michele and Agron play teens on TV, in reality, they are adults who have the ability to get raunchy for the lens if they so choose.
"Glee," a comedy featuring a high school choir, has taken U.S. pop culture by storm since its 2009 debut.
