BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- The judge who sent Lindsay Lohan to jail and rehab has removed herself from the troubled actress' case at the request of the prosecutor, according to LA District Attorney's office.
Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel "was having calls and discussions with people on the case and we were not present," said Jane Robison of the Los Angeles District Attorney's office.

The judge made headlines when she went against the recommendation of experts in Lohan's case and ordered her to a different rehab facility after Lohan completed her prison term.
Lohan is currently in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program at the University of California, Los Angeles, after having served 13 days behind bars for violating her probation in a pair of drunken driving cases.
