BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Looks like Jennifer Lopez's name won't be on the list of potential candidates for "American Idol" judges, according to People.com reports.

"Her demands got out of hand," a source told the site. "Fox had just had enough."

Ever since Ellen DeGeneres announced her quiting as judge of the America's top-rated reality show, rumors have swirled that Jennifer Lopez is close to finishing a deal.

No word yet from the folks at Fox on whether she is truly out of the picture.

With various reports in recent weeks having named Jessica Simpson, Chris Isaak, Harry Connick Jr. and Justin Timberlake as possible "Idol" judges, the show is still in a chaotic transition period.
