BEIJING, Aug. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- The rumors about the judge panel of "American Idol" Season 10 are still not clarified.
However, Fox has confirmed one big change behind the scene: Nigel Lythgoe, a former "Idol" executive producer, is returning to the Fox hit show, according to reports of Entertainment Weekly on Thursday.
Since leavig "American Idol" in 2008, Lythgoe has focused on another popular reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" as an executive producer and judge.

The TV executive has reportedly signed a two-year contract to shape the show alongside creator Simon Fuller and executive producers Cecile Frot-Coutaz and Ken Warwick.
But there's no word yet on whether Lythgoe will sit on the judge bench.
Lythgoe's return news may mean that the final decision of the judging panel will emerge soon. But Fox has yet to confirm reports that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will replace Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres on the panel.
