Pop star Britney Spears laughs with David Letterman during a taping of television's "Late Show with David Letterman" in New York May 9, 2006. Spears's father has given up his full-time job so as to focus on his role as co-conservator of his troubled daughter's business affairs. |
"As a result of the responsibilities Mr. Spears has assumed as Temporary Conservator of the Person and Temporary Co-Conservator of the Estate, he has been unable to continue his prior employment and thus no longer has the source of income he previously had in order to pay his expenses and bills."
It seems Jamie' work is paying off as his 26-year-old was recently granted more time with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
She has also made two guest appearances in the U.S. television series "How I Met Your Mother" which received positive reviews and drew record viewers.
