3. compile v. 汇编；编辑
英语中表示“编纂”的词还有edit，它们的细微区别如下：
compile 通常指根据搜集、整理的资料编辑词典或汇编文集。
edit 普通用词，含义更广泛，指校订、编辑他人待出版的著作，也指对杂志、报刊的稿件进行编辑、编排加工。
compile routine 编译程序 compile command 编译指令。
compile名词形式为compilation，形容词形式为compilatory。
It costed him several years to compile this encyclopedia.
